The TrevorLIVE gala will take place June 11 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
The Trevor Project is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and the annual gala is sure to be one to remember, with Rita Ora and the cast of Viceland’s My House set to take the stage.
The national organization provides group crisis intervention, suicide prevention services and education to LGBTQ youth under the age of 25.
“I am honored to be performing at this year’s TrevorLIVE gala,” Ora said of her upcoming performance in a statement. “The Trevor Project’s mission is very close to my heart. It is vital that LBGTQ+ youth have the resources and support that The Trevor Project provides. I am thrilled to perform and be a part of such a great night supporting such wonderful work!”
The night will kick off with a special performance by the voguing members of My House, an insider’s guide to the underground queer ballroom scene in New York. “I can say we all came to the ballroom community to find a place where we could express ourselves freely and be loved for the proud LGBTQ+ people that we are,” cast member and ultimate ballroom expert Precious Ebony said in the statement.
